Research training

The program objective

It is aimed for supporting international research cooperation  Kazan Federal University between the foreign university as well as provide academic and administrative support to international scholars, post- and undergraduate students conducting research in Kazan (collecting materials for doctoral, master’s, and senior theses, writing articles etc.).

Admission

Training requirements:

There are no specific requirements. Graduate and postgraduate students, as well as candidates interested in conducting research in any area, are welcome to apply (see program options). However, detailed information about the participant’s education would help us to better prepare for the training program at Kazan University.

Language training requirements:

There are no specific language requirements. However, Russian language ability (at least B1 level) sufficient for program participation is expected.

Special terms of admission:

Candidates must file a detailed training program alongside recommendations from experts in his/her area, including a recommendation from the head of an academic unit at Kazan Federal University.

Status

Program participants receive the status of a Kazan Federal University trainee.

Training programs

It includes individual consultancy with a research supervisor or other experts in the field of the research training (1 academic hours per week), visa and registration support, access to Kazan Federal University information and communication resources, assistance in arranging accommodation, as well as solving problems that may emerge during the training period.

For an extra fee, the program can be supplemented by additional consultancy, language tutorials, or access to some general courses at the University.

Program duration

No longer than 1 year.

Fees 

The fees are determined by the Institutions and charged pointed according to the programs, duration, qualification of scientific supervisors (if needed) and other factors.

Prices only include tuition and/or administrative support. Accommodation and living expenses, insurance payments, and various registration and visa-related state fees, as well as possible bank commissions as well as possible laboratory expenses, are not included.

Tuition fees within the framework of long-term partner agreements are fixed by the bilateral agreements or determined for each specific student, and thus may differ from those listed above.

We would like to inform you that invitation for obtaining a student visa for non-degree programs will be prepared only after the tuition fee prepayment is made by the student.
