KFU contributing to Kazan Digital Week forum

The event grows every year, this time counting over 20 thousand registered participants from 75 countries.
Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov joined the plenary opening session with his report Technological leadership through AI: new horizons and challenges. The opening ceremony was joined by Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of Russia Maksut Shadayev.
“This year, the national project Data Economy was launched. We are grateful to Russian President Vladimir Putin for this. This new national project aims to integrate digital technologies into the lives of citizens and the economy, and it will provide additional impetus to the development of the Russian IT industry. The President has set a strategic goal of accelerating the development of domestic digital solutions, which should become the foundation for the transformation of all sectors of the economy,” said the Rais.
KFU is showcasing its startup project, the Growth Game, aimed at enhancing entrepreneurial skills in players of all ages, represented by Associate Professor Masud Marufi.
Chair of the Department of Bilingual and Digital Education Luiza Plotnikova spoke about KFU’s Center for Digital Educational Technology, Edutech.
Among the KDW’s topics are cybersecurity, Industry 4.0, financial services, smart cities, transportation, digital tech in culture, and others.
