UNICS Sports Center
UNICS (which stands for ‘University. Culture. Sports’) is the oldest athletic facility at the University, having been built on – and in – a picturesque slope on Pushkin street right next to KFU’s Main Building. It occupies an impressive 15 thousand square meters. Historically, it was also a pioneer in the Soviet Union in being the first varsity sports venue to offer paid services to other customers. It was also the venue for Russia’s first Rock Climbing Championship and Basketball Veterans Cup. The facility is large enough to accommodate 2,500 students a day.
Apart from physical education for KFU students, UNICS offers a multitude of other services, such as:

- Ballroom dancing
- Volleyball
- Yoga
- Pilates
- Rock climbing
- Futsal,
as well as many others.

Bustan Complex
The complex was constructed in 2010 and comprises two buildings.
Bustan Ball Game Building
The building houses a basketball/volleyball/futsal court with bleachers for 974 spectators, four dressing rooms,. a press room, a conference room, a medical room, and technical facilities.
The complex offers classes in volleyball, basketball, handball, lawn tennis, table tennis, futsal, badminton, and karate.
Bustan Water Sports Building
The building comprises an Olympic pool (695 sqm), a small pool (180.6 sqm), a dry swimming hall (171.3 sqm), a weight training gym (230.5 sqm), six dressing rooms, and technical facilities.

Moskva Complex
The complex was opened in 2010 and has the following facilities:
- Ball game court
- Wrestling court
- Martial arts gym
- Weight training gym

- Ballet
- Table tennis (lease only; no lessons)
- Ballroom dance
- Weight training

Orengbursky Trakt Sports Complex
The hotel-and-sports facility was built in 1980 and transferred to KFU’s ownership in 2010 after a major renovation.
The sports block comprises a ball game court, a 15 m pool, and a weight training gym.

Butlerova 4 Sports Facility
The complex had been formerly serving Kazan State Institute of Finance and Economics before the latter was made part of KFU in a 2011 merger.
