Guidelines on Admission for Master degree programs
Dear applicants! This year, the application process for the main educational programmes (bachelor’s/specialist’s degrees, master’s degrees) at Kazan Federal University has been updated.
1. If you have an SNILS (Social Insurance Number) You can register and submit your application via the Gosuslugi (Russian Federation Government Services) portal — it’s quick, reliable and convenient. You can complete all stages online, without leaving your home. Application link:https://www.gosuslugi.ru/ Document submission period: Master’s degrees: from 20 June to 10 August. 2. If you don’t have an SNILS Use the RUID system to register and submit your application. We have prepared a detailed instruction to help you easily complete all the steps. This system will provide you with the opportunity to submit documents through the Russian Federation Government Services Portal. Please refer to point 1 for further instructions. 3. Submitting applications via the KFU website before 20 June Before the main application stage begins, you can submit your application through the official website of Kazan Federal University. This is a great opportunity to prepare in advance and make sure you don’t miss the start of the admissions campaign. Foreign applicants and stateless persons have several way to get the right to receive higher education:
– at the expense of budgetary allocations in accordance with: 1) international treaties of the Russian Federation, 2) federal laws, 3) the quota for education of foreign citizens and stateless persons established by the Government of the Russian Federation.
The electronic image of documents should ensure visual identity of its paper original at a scale of 1:1. The quality of submitted electronic images of documents in pdf-format should allow to read the text of the document in full and recognize its details. If a paper document consists of two or more sheets, the electronic image of such paper document shall be formed as a single file. The file size limit is 10 Mb. The resolution of the document must be at least 300 dpi.
Exam results are published in personal account within 3 business days after passing the exam. If the applicant does not agree with the results of the entrance exams, applicant can make an appeal within 1 day after the results are announced.

The tuition fee for foreign countries depends on the need for visa support:
1. Applicants from the “visa-free” CIS countries are admitted to the KFU on special financial terms. tuition fee for them is the same as for citizens of the Russian Federation.
2. Applicants from “visa” countries are admitted on general financial terms for foreign citizens.

If all conditions are met, status of the application will change to “enrolled”, and the applicant can search the name in enrollment order, that will be published on the KFU web site.
1. If the applicant are a citizen of a visa country, applicant will receive an invitation to obtain a visa to enter the Russian Federation on the date of the start of your studies. The issuing of the invitation takes 40-45 days from the date of enrollment order implementation. Do not buy tickets in advance! A ready-made invitation will be sent to the email address.
