KFU contributes to the 9th Convention of the Eurasian Universities Association

The event on 2 – 3 March features 332 participants from 127 universities of 18 countries.

One of the main foci of the forum is tutoring of gifted schoolchildren.

The University is represented by Deputy Director of the International Office Yana Yevdokimova, who comments, “Despute the ongoing turbulence, we see a massive interest in partnership and contacts with the Russian academia, including such from universities of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation from Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Oman, and other nations. Among the participants of the current convention are our longtime partners – the National University of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz National University, Eurasian National University, the University of Tehran, Belarus State University, and others.”

The contributors have made detalied offers on how to strengthen Eurasian economic cooperation, including new funding programs, partnerships, academic mobility, unified educational standardization, etc.

KFU will host several EUA-level events in 2023 – 13th Islam in a Multicultural World Forum, 4th International Forum on Mathematical Education, 9th International Forum on Teacher Education, Golovkinsky Conference on Stratigraphy, and others.

The convention also comprises the 1st Forum of the Eurasian Network University; the latter was established in May 2022. Network participants are going to discuss study programs, educational certification, humanitarian initiatives, and business prospects.
