KFU joins 2nd Youth Forum of CIS and Eurasian Economic Union

Over 20 countries have sent their representatives to Sirius, Russia, on 7 – 9 June.

KFU delegation is headed by Vice-Rector for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev and includes four students.

The forum is attended by young professionals, entrepreneurs, public servants, teachers, and other individuals from the Commonwealth of Independent States, Eurasian Economic Union, and friendly countries.

Vice-Rector Alishev contributed to a panel discussion on summer schools. One such initiative, KFU’s Summer University, is scheduled for 10 to 23 July 2023. It will include 11 educational tracks for overseas nationals, including 2 tracks in English language. Among the event’s partners are Lobachevsky University and Innopolis University. The program is still open for registration.

KFU student Elza Azizova presented a gamified educationa project on Eurasian integration at the forum. The participants can solve cases and receive bonuses, such as student card points, travel miles, etc.

Graduate student Geydar Bayramov notes that the forum was an inspiring event for him, “We discussed many pertinent problems in law and economics and found common ground in possible solutions.”

A companion expo, Our Home Eurasia, showcases macroregional cooperation projects in industry, finance, digital economy, healthcare, sports, tourism, science, and education.
