KFU represented at ROSTKI Russia-China Forum 2026

This year’s forum features the Comprehensive Collection of Ancient Chinese Painting exhibition, visited yesterday by Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minninkhanov. 232 books in 62 volumes were gifted to Kazan Federal University by Zhejiang University. They comprise reproductions of 12,405 works of visual art on paper, silk, linen, and other materials. The collection is stored in KFU’s Lobachevsky Library.

On the opening day, KFU employees held master classes in calligraphy, flower compositions, and painting. There were also several open lectures, covering the topics of the contemporary image of China in written fiction, Chinese-Russian translation in film, and tea traditions in Russia, China, and Britain.

Today, the lectures and master classes are continuing at the forum’s venue, Expo Kazan.

The forum is scheduled for 17th to 19th August, 2026.
