Tatarstan International Forum of Energy and Energy Resource Efficiency held at Kazan Expo
The event is organized on 3 – 5 April.
The forum is attended by Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais (Governor) of the Republic of Tatarstan, Pavel Snikkars, Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia, Mikhail Ivanov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, and others.
Kazan Federal University is represented by employees of several institutes.
Deputy Director for Research of Naberezhnye Chelny Institute Dinar Fazullin joined a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan titled On the implementation of the state program of the Republic of Tatarstan Energy and Resource Efficiency in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2023 and tasks for 2024.
“Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan – Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan Oleg Korobchenko reported on the program,” said Fazullin. “Then the experience of implementation of the municipal energy saving program in Apastovo District was shared by its head Airat Ziganshin. Eduard Galeev, General Director of TGK-16, informed about the projects dedicated to modernization, renewal and service maintenance of the equipment of electric power plants. The speech of Gazprom Gazomotornoye Toplivo LLC Director General was devoted to the efficiency of the natural gas fuel market development”.
The round table Tools to Increase Labor Productivity at the Enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan. Success Stories was joined by Anton Semyonov, Specialist of the Center for Intelligent Manufacturing and Additive Technologies of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and System Engineering.
He introduced the attendees to the smartphone-oriented system of medical, ambulatory, industrial personnel monitoring called Order.
“The key features of Order are: determination of the current posture, detection of cough and its type with counting the number of attacks, identification of a fall with sending an alarm signal to the operator if the employee has not canceled the signal, determination of pulse rate and level of oxygenation. The complex is able to determine the possible state of alcohol and drug intoxication, the presence of acute respiratory infections and about eight more parameters that can affect the medical process in case of late detection,” said Semyonov.
He emphasized that Order is a fully in-house development of IAIRSE and the Institute of Computational Mathematics and IT and is positioned as an element of resource efficiency for enterprises.
The other contributors from KFU today were Aidar Tufetulov, Head of the Department of Economic Security and Taxation of the Institute of Management, Economics and Finance; Roza Salieva, Professor of the Department of Business and Energy Law of the Faculty of Law; and Lenar Tagirov, Professor of the Department of Solid State Physics of the Institute of Physics.
Ildar Kalimullin, Chair of the Department of Energy Security, will head the round table Topical issues of energy safety and energy efficiency in modern conditions tomorrow. He and Dmitry Rodnyansky, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the Institute of AI, Robotics and System Engineering will present their reports.
“I will touch upon the problems of development of Russia’s energy industry after the introduction of sanctions restrictions,” shared Rodnyansky. “Much attention will be paid to the trend towards the development of ESG principles in the implementation of energy policy. I will present a comparative analysis of energy intensity and energy efficiency of the world’s leading economies, as well as make proposals for improving the efficiency of energy sources by implementing ESG principles in Russia. I have calculated the economic effect from the implementation of these measures”.
The forum includes a number of events and a specialized exhibition. More than 80 leading industry companies from 17 regions of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan are represented in the exposition.
