KFU ascends to 8th position in Interfax National University Rankings 2023

In particular, Kazan University is first among federal universities of Russia; our school was 8th in the previous year.

The ranking includes 368 Russian universities. The methodology comprises universities’ self-assessments, open data, statistics of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, and analytics from commercial databases. There are 36 indicators in 6 groups: Education, Research, Social Activities, Cooperation, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Brand. As for KFU’s positions, the University is 6th in Education and 8th in Research, with the latter showing the greatest progress of 18 positions year-on-year. As usual, Social Activities is especially strong, being the 2nd in Russia.

Interfax National Rankings was unveiled in 2010 and aims to develop independent local evaluations of educational institutions.
