Our students among winners of International Student of the Year in Tatarstan

The ceremony was held on 19 January at the Kazan State Institute of Culture.

The competition comprised three stages – applications, expert evaluations, and award presentation.

There were 6 nominations – International Student of the Year, Success of the Year, Leader of the Year, Creative Personality of the Year, Team of the Year, and Project of the Year. 6 of the 18 winners are from Kazan Federal University, with 4 of them from the Institute of International Relations.

Here are the winners:

Leader of the Year – Lyubov Kryachko, Head of the Association of International Students of the Institute of International Relations;

Creative Personality of the Year – Gyunel Azizova (Institute of International Relations);

Project of the Year – Native Speakers Club (Institute of International Relations);

Project of the Year – Adaptation School for International Students by Yana Li (Institute of Psychology and Education);

International Student of the Year – Khumoyunmirzo Usmonov.

Success of the Year – Aysulu Babaeva (Institute of Management, Economics and Finance).

Vice-Rector for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev was invited to the event and addressed the audience.
