University staff congratulated on International Women’s Day

A traditional holiday concert was held on 7 March in the Emperor Ballroom of the Main Building.

Rector Lenar Safin addressed the gathered female employees, “Female scientists are increasingly taking leadership positions, becoming heads of institutes, departments, laboratories, or research groups. Your reliability, responsible attitude to work and study, creative approach to any undertaking admire us. I sincerely wish you good and joy! Happy holiday!”

The Rector then gave out awards to the winners of the provincial Female Scientist Awards. He added that the University allocated funds for one-off payments to all the employees who become parents this year.

The concert program included many performances and congratulations from the staff, including addresses by Vice-Rector for Earth Sciences Danis Nurgaliev, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Moral Education Arif Mezhvedilov, Vice-Rector for Comprehensive Security Rishat Guzeirov, President of KFU Riyaz Minzaripov, and Head of the University Trade Union Yevgeny Strukov.

Chair of the Department of Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Pharmacology Ramziya Kiyamova;

Chair of the Department of Preschool Education Venera Zakirova;

Lead Research Associate of the Laboratory of Genetics of Microorganisms Tatyana Grigoryeva;

Associate Professor of the Department of Organic and Medical Chemistry Almira Kurbangalieva;

Associate Professor of the Department of Applied Ecology Guzel Valeeva;

Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages in International Relations Anastasiya Fakhrutdinova.
