KFU student in the roster of Irbis Kazan, winner of 2023 Floorball Cup of Russia

Vladislav Smantser was aslo awarded the Best Goalkeeper title.

According to Smantser, he joined Irbis Kazan in 2021. As he shares. the club placed second in the 2022 tournament and was eager to improve on that this year.

In the end, the Kazanites won all 4 matches, including one against last year’s winner Nizhegorodets – this one ended 6:4.

“The emotions from the victory are hard to describe in words, it was something like – there was no limit to our joy. It was a feeling that finally we had thrown the weight off our shoulders and finally this title belongs to us, to the city of Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan,” says the goalkeeper.

In the 2023/2024 season, Irbis is also part of Russian Floorball Men’s Championship and Saint-Petersburg Floorball R-League. Several matches are scheduled to be played in Kazan.
