Acting Rector Dmitry Tayursky met with Ambassador of Tajikistan in Russia Davlatshoh Kurbonali Gulmakhmadzoda

The talks took place on 20 May at KFU.

The Ambassador said that he was tasked by the government to discuss issues of education for various sectors of the Tajikistani economy, in particular, the industry. He mentioned that there the lack is especially felt in IT, engineering, and energy,

“We see the immense potential of Russian universities in those spheres and are interested in building bilateral ties between the academic communities of both countries.”

His Excellency added that Tajikistan has been and shall henceforth remain a reliable ally of Russia and maintain full turst and tight cooperation in different areas. This pertains also to research and education.

As of now, KFU has partnership links with 12 Tajikistani organization and hosts 300 students from the Central Asian country.
