Cooperation agreement signed with Dagestan State University

Acting Rector Dmitry Tayursky and Vice-Rector for Social Work Arif Mezhvedilov visited Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, on 23 – 26 June.

They met with Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Dagestan State University Magomed Gasanov, who introduced his university and its main priorities. In his turn, Acting Rector Tayursky spoke about KFU.

The sides signed an agreement concerning joint programs, research, cultural and academic exchange, and infrastructure development.

The guests from Kazan were then accompanied to the Aquaculture Center of DSU, where local scientists work with Acipenseridae (sturgeons). Visits were also made to the Engineering Center, 3D Printing Lab, Plasma Technology Lab, and Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials Center.
