Dormitories inspected before academic year
This season, student check-ins start on 24 August.
Overall, 11 commissions have been formed comprising students, administrative employees, and teaching staff. All the dormitories, including common facilities and living rooms, will be checked for life and safety compliance and general conditions. After that, necessary renovations or changes can be made.
Second year student Gao Xin, a Chinese national, notes the accommodation’s many advantages – comfort, low fees, and cleanliness.
Third year student from Russia’s Sverdlovsk Oblast Valeriya Strygina echoes, “I like living here. I didn’t really expect that the dorm would be this comfortable; I have shown photos to my parents, and they didn’t believe what they saw – the kitchens are always squeaky clean, everything is in order, and there is a separate bathroom. I have met many people from other regions of Russia, which is a nice part of student life.”
All proposals regarding dorm improvements can be sent to profkom_ku@mail.ru.
