International Graduate Day held at Kazan University

In 2022, there are 1,283 overseas students who have graduated from degree programs and 1,143 – from Preparatory School.

The event was visited by Vice-Rector for External Affairs Timirkhan Alishev, Director of the International Office Olga Vershinina, Counsellor to the Rector for International Cooperation Linar Latypov, Head of the Student Adaptation Unit Rustam Musin, and others.

Vice-Rector Alishev commended the graduates for their diligence and thanked them choosing KFU. He also extended gratitude to educators who applied efforts to provide top-quality instruction to young people. The Vice-Rector and Ms. Vershinina gave away letters of appreciation to the best-performing alumni.

Panandtigri Oumarou, an Ivorian national, shared in her speech, “We are all leaving a part of our hearts in Kazan. Here, we have loved, laughed, and sometimes cried or got sad, or have been the happiest of the happy.”

Stanislav Mladenov (Bulgaria) said, “Many of us will leave for home, but we will always be proud to bear the title of a Kazan University alumnus.”

Several other graduates also shared their memories of the student years and plans for the future.
