Kazan University expresses condolences over the Crocus City Hall tragedy

On behalf of KFU, words of support to friends and relatives of the victims of the terrorist attack were expressed by Rector Lenar Safin.

What happened in Crocus City Hall is a tragedy that we all have yet to realize. It is a monstrous crime against humanity, committed with particular cynicism and cruelty.

Looking at it, all doubts about what is really happening now disappear. We have been declared a very real war – a war of annihilation. Peaceful, innocent people have been killed systematically, cold-bloodedly and ruthlessly in order to sow terror and panic.

On behalf of the entire Kazan University and on my own behalf I express my sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims. We all hope for a speedy recovery of the victims. I wish them strength of mind and patience! I am sure that the organizers and participants of the terrorist attack will not escape fair retribution.
