Kazan University joins educational fair in Mongolia
The 7th National Russian Educational Expo in Ulaanbaatar is scheduled for 6 to 8 October.
In total, 21 universities have arrived. KFU is represented by Lead Specialist of International Admissions Unit Olga Baklanova and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Regional Geology and Mineral Resources Almaz Mullakaev.
“Diplomas from Russian universities are highly valued by employers in Mongolia, and Russia significantly quotas for Mongolian enrollees every year. In this light, it has become important for us to expand the presence of KFU and strengthen career guidance in the country. We decided to start this work with an exhibition organized by Rossotrudnichestvo,” says Head of International Admissions Unit Rauf Sabirov.
As of now, KFU hosts eight undergraduate and graduate students and one PhD student from Mongolia.
The expo also includes an international meeting of Mongolian graduates of Russian universities, set to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first enrolment of Mongolian youth in Soviet universities.
