Kazan University retains 10th position in Interfax Rankings

It is also first among federal universities.

KFU has scored 728 points (out of the possible 1,000). The university is among the top 10 in such categories as Education, Social Work, Internationalization, and Brand Value.

The national ranking includes 358 Russian universities. The information was collected from questionnaires, open statistics, materials of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, and Interfax’s proprietary databases – SPARK and SCAN.

The project has been in place since 2010 and aims to develop an independent system of evaluation for Russian universities and to boost their competitiveness.
