Kazan University to partake in inter-university Security Operation Center
The agreement was signed on 20 September at Kazan Digital Week 2022.
The ceremony was visited by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development of Russia Maksim Parshin, and Deputy of State Duma Anatoly Aksakov. The co-signatories are Vice-Rector of KFU for Digital Transformation and Innovation Dmitry Pashin, General Director of Innostage Group Aydar Guzayrov, Rector of Kazan Power Engineering University Edvard Abdullazyanov, Director of Innopolis University Kirill Semenikhin, and Acting Rector of Kazan Technical University Timur Alibaev.
“Apart from managing information security at involved institutions, the Center will be an internship platform for IT students to acquire skills in this specialization. Students will be able to work at the Center and learn to detect information threats and react accordingly,” says Vice-Rector Pashin.
The unique project will soon be scaled to all Russian universities.
