KFU is second in Russia in new QS Sustainability Rankings
The university is placed in the 401-450 bracket for the next year.
The ranking assesses 700 universities to determine their environmental and social impact.
The two sections of the ranking are environmental impact (where our university is 370th) and social impact (KFU is in the 501+ group). The first comprises sustainable institutions, sustainable education, and sustainable research. As for the second, it consists of equality, knowledge exchange, impact of education, employability and opportunities, and quality of life.
Saint Petersburg State University is ahead of Kazan University and first in Russia. The other three are Lomonosov Moscow State University, Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, and RUDN Uniiversity.
