Rector Lenar Safin congratulates colleagues on World Teachers’ Day at Lobachevsky Lyceum and IT Lyceum

On 5 October, he visited two in-house secondary schools.

“The Teachers’ Day is a holiday which is important to all of us,” he said addressing the educators. “We all have memories of favorite teachers and mentors.”

He commended the pedagogues for bringing up creative, active and ambitious young people.

“Their victories at prestigious Russian and international contests is your merit and your contribution to the future of Russia,” said the Rector while relaying wishes of health and wellbeing to the teachers.

Those who distinguished themselves during the year received awards from Russian and Tatarstani governments.

Warm words were also extended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yekaterina Turilova, Principal of Lobachevsky Lyceum Yelena Skobeltsyna, and Principal of IT Lyceum Ildar Mukhametov.
