Scholarships awarded to ten students by cloud provider Selectel

The ceremony took place on 27 October at KFU’s Center for Digital Transformation.

The university is one of the four partners of Selectel’s scholarship program for this academic year.

As for the scholarship, it is bestowed for such achievements as personal projects on GitHub, DIY projects, articles on thematic websites, contributions to open source initiatives, participations in hackathons and meetups, and others.

The winners were congratulated by Vice-Rector for Digital Transformation and Innovation Dmitry Pashin, Deputy Director of the Institute of Computational Mathematics and IT Anton Yegorchev, and Deputy Director of the Institute of IT and Intelligent Systems Irina Maksimova, as well as representatives of Selectel.

The awardees are going to receive a monthly remuneration for the duration of the next semester and listen to lectures and master classes from the company’s employees; they will also be informed about jobs and career workshops.
