Snow Squad recovers remains of four fighters of the Great Patriotic War in Volgograd Oblast

The recovery expedition took place from 6 to 13 August.

The KFU squad comprised six people, including one employee and two alumni.

A special expertise, hopefully, will help determine the soldiers’ names. The next expedition is scheduled for late September and will take place in Lyuban, Leningrad Oblast.

For the Snow Squad, this was a third trip to Volgograd Oblast. During the last two expeditions, the squad members found remains of 22 soldiers of the Red Army, and two of them have been positively identified.
