We Are Together kindergarten visited by delegation of Volga Federal District

The meeting was held on 30 June.

The delegation comprised Aide to the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Vladimir Kolchin, Counsellor of the Department of Social Projects of the Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District Natalya Zakharova, Rector of Volga Research Medical University Oksana Balandina, and others. They were met by Acting Rector of KFU Dmitry Tayursky, Director of the Institute of Psychology and Education Aydar Kalimullin, and Principal of We Are Together kindergarten Elvira Sadretdinova.

Principal Sadretdinova talked about kindergarten’s work with kids with autism spectrum disorders. There are fifty children in the kindergarten, divided into small groups of no more than five in each. Parents together with children have separate sessions with expert teachers (psychologists, speech therapists, and others) two times a week. Digital aid resources for families will be launched in the autumn of 2022.

The guests asked questions about the kindergarten’s work and discussed cooperation in education and research.
