Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov’s address on the 220th anniversary of Kazan University

Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, sent a congratulatory telegram to the Rector and the entire staff of KFU on the occasion of the anniversary.

“The history of the illustrious university was written by outstanding scientists who became pioneers in a number of branches of knowledge, as well as famous graduates who achieved great success in a variety of fields. Today KFU is one of the leading national universities of a wide profile, which testifies to its strong authority and high achievements in scientific and educational activities. It is important that along with traditional directions new programs are successfully implemented here, aimed at solving urgent problems facing the academic community, our Republic and the country as a whole,” the message reads.

In conclusion, Rais wished all those involved new worthy accomplishments for the glory of the alma mater, unchanging enthusiasm and all the best.
