Spanish Language Festival held at Institute of International Relations

The Nochebuena event took place on December 19th.
This was the third iteration of the event, conceived as a way for students to showcase their talents in the language and culture of the Hispanosphere.
Dean of the Higher School of Foreign Languages and Translation Diana Sabirova noted, “Strategic partnerships among Russia and Latin American countries are developing. We want to celebrate the holidays of the countries that have a significant representation among our student body.”
One of the directors of the festival, third-year student Polina Chernova, shared, “We rehearsed for two months, two-three times a week. I was very inspired by the students who showed their genuine love to Spanish language. This year’s concert is united by one plot point – New Year. The festival unites Russian and Latin American students in showing their appreciation of the language and culture.”
