Marat Khafizov earns Most Valuable Forward title at the Volga Federal District Hockey Championship 2020

The tournament was held in Kazan and involved seven teams from different provinces of the Volga Federal District.

Marat Khafizov comments on his commendation, “I didn’t aim at being the better one individually. That’s why it was a surprise for me. I was pleased to work with the team – everyone is communicative, understanding, and compromising. We wanted to please our fans within home walls and tried our best.”

The tournament is organized by the Ministry of Sport of Tatarstan, Golden Puck Association, and Student Hockey League of Russia; it is sponsored by provincial governments, Rostec, and Russian Helicopters.
