11th Forum ‘Islam in a Multicultural World’
The event takes up 14 – 22 October, 2021.
The topics of this year are Islamic factor in international security, human capital and social development in the Middle East and Northern Africa, traditional Islam vs quasi-religious movements, and others.
The forum also includes book presentations, a workshop on Turkish language teaching, and an open lecture about current foreign policy of Turkey.
On 14th October, the conference was opened with greetings from Vice-Rector of KFU for Research Dmitry Tayursky, Russia’s Representative at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ramazan Abdulatipov, First Deputy Chairman of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Russia Damir Mukhetdinov, and Deputy Chairman of the Spiritual Directorate of Muslims of Tatarstan Rafik Mukhametshin.
Results of the forum discussions will be systemized and offered to government bodies of Tatarstan and Russia.
