370 students employed in summer jobs across the country

The Student Squad Headquarters has shared some fresh statistics.

Student squads are special self-governance bodies tasked with regulating and arranging student internships and employment, predominantly during the vacation period. This year, KFU students are working in Tatarstan, Crimea, Krasnodar Krai and Vologda Oblast.

As of now, there are 11 squads in the central campus, five of them specializing in teaching and tutoring, two in construction, two in train conductorship, and two in the service industry. Eight more squads hail from KFU’s territorial campuses in Yelabuga and Naberezhnye Chelny.

Headquarters Coordinator Yana Ogloblina explains, “Compared to the previous year, when COVID restrictions were in place, we have more students this year – 370 against 171. The monthly salary ranges from 15 to 50 thousand rubles, depending on the specialization. Squads enroll people starting in autumn through our account on VK.com.”
