Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia 2021 Finals held in Kazan

Over 2 thousand students from 60 provinces joined the event.

The programs included nine popular sports disciplines: 3×3 basketball, volleyball, 6×6 football, table tennis, chess, badminton, cybersports, wheelchair basketball, and rugby.

Kazan University dispatched 90 participants, including two men’s football teams, one women’s football team, men’s and women’s volleyball teams, men’s and women’s basketball teams, and squads in chess, badminton, table tennis, and Dota 2.

Another separate cybersports event – in League of Legends – also featured Kazan Yulbars, KFU’s student sports club. KFU place third.

In the superfinals, the Yulbarses showed good results, including team gold in women’s football and chess.

The ASSC Fest is organized by Ministry of Sports of Russia, ASSC of Russia, Ministry of Sports of Russia, with support from Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia, Ministry of Enlightenment of Russia, and Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.
