The announcement was made during a video conference on 20 December.
The final tournament included 8 days of contests. Over 8,000 students registered, and 600 became finalists.
As Denis Davydov says, he only hoped to win Athlete of the Year, his primary nomination, and was completely stunned when awarded the Grand Prix. Under his captaincy, the KFU futsal team placed second in the Tatarstan Student Football League and first in 6×6 football in the All-Russian Student Sports Festival.

Tatarstan became the province with the most wins – seven students from our Republic received various commendations.
