Derzhavin Readings 2021 opened with a press conference
It was held on May 24.
The conference was visited by Head of Rosobrnadzor (Russian education quality watchdog) Anzor Muzaev, Rector of the All-Russian State University of Justice Olga Aleksandrova, First Vice-Rector of Kazan Federal University Riyaz Minzaripov, First Vice-Rector of the All-Russian State University of Justice Dmitry Guryev, and First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Tatarstan Andrey Pominov.
As Rector Aleksandrova noted, the conference will tackle socioeconomic aspects of justice, theoretical and practical aspects of law, and questions of legal psychology and legal consciousness.
Vice-Rector Minzaripov said that over 550 contributions are to be made by participants, of which there are about 500 students (including 250 students of Kazan Federal University).
Rosobrnadzor will have a special roundtable on federal regulation of higher education and accreditation requirements. In particular, among the long-awaited news, Anzor Muzaev mentioned that university accreditation for the leading institutions will now be non-expirable and will focus more on general employer feedback than on formal paperwork.
