Kazan Federal University advances in Round University Ranking
KFU is now 372nd in the world, up from 457th place a year earlier.
In this iteration, the ranking expanded to cover 857 universities, of which 95 are based in Russia.
RUR, first published in 2013, is the first global university ranking compiled in Russia. In evaluates institutions based on teaching, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability. In these metrics, KFU is respectively 191st, 477th, 329th and 633rd in the world. Compared to the prior edition, significant ascent took place in teaching (+116), international diversity (+84) and research (+38).
In detailed indicators, KFU shows best results in academic staff per students (125th), doctoral degrees awarded per admitted PhD (113th) and share of international students (145th).
