Kazan Federal University and Sber Solutions agree to develop joint educational programs

Rector Ilshat Gafurov and Vice-President of Sberbank Pyotr Koltypin signed the document during the opening ceremony of Sber Solutions office in Kazan on November 15.

The other two memoranda were signed by Sber Solutions with Innopolis University and Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

Historically, KFU and Sber have been cooperating fruitfully in education, research, and healthcare, with a focus on comprehensive digitization of those areas.

In 2020, the University and Sberbank signed an agreement on special student loans with decreased interest rates.

At this time, KFU, Sberbank, Innopolis University, and School 21 have a roadmap to develop an educational cluster. This includes joint KFU-Sber master programs in data engineering, data science, and data analysis. A joint program in product development was launched with the Institute of IT and Intelligent Systems. The Institute also plans to integrate its program in AI for digital products with Sber’s data analysis program.
