KFU tourist club Alter Ego to arrange a ski trip to the Urals
Deputy Head of Alter Ego Milya Salakhova shares the details.
«This season promises to be hot for tourism,» she says. “We are planning a big ski trip to the Northern Urals in the winter break.”
In December 2021, Alter Ego placed 3rd in Russia in a national tourist club competition. Later, during the New Year holidays of 2022, the club organized two ski trips – in the Southern Urals and in the Republic of Udmurtia.
Alter Ego also has huge plans for the upcoming spring, namely, there will be six events – two water trips, one hike, and one mountain climb. The regions are Altai, Caucasus, Crimea, Northern Urals, and Southern Urals.
«It’s been long since we planned such packed May holidays – three types of tourism, and one of them is 1st difficulty category mountain climb,» comments Salakhova.
The club also has many teaching events. In 2022, there will be 14 workshops, 7 training sessions, a water tourism school, and several tournaments – rogaine, knot binding, alpine skiing, and cross country skiing.
Some of the club’s events are held in English language.
