KFU visited by Norchem Group of Companies delegation

The sides discussed cooperation on 24 January.

The guests were Director for Development of Norchem Limited Maksim Matveev, Director of Norchem Scientific and Technological Center Oleg Orekhov, and Head of the Applied Research of Surface-Active Substances Lab Sergey Domashenko. KFU was represented by Vice-Rector for Earth Sciences Danis Nurgaliev, employees of the World-Class Research Center in Liquid Hydrocarbons, Pharmaceutics Center, and other departments.

Norchem is interested in cooperating in the production of monomers, polyesters, polyurethanes, and relevant chemical products. Surface-active substances for oil extraction are also of great importance for potential joint work.

The delegation visited several labs and facilities and spoke with Director of the Institute of Chemistry Marat Ziganshin, Deputy Director of the Institute of Chemistry Alexander Lamberov, Chair of the Department of Petroleum Engineering Mikhail Varfolomeev, and others.

Cooperation opportunities were discussed with all the involved parties.
