Memorandum of cooperation signed with KMG Engineering (Kazakhstan)

 The signatories were Vice-Rector for Petroleum and Gas Technology Danis Nurgaliev and General Director of KMGE Bakhytzhan Khasanov.

KMG Engineering is a leading research facility for KazMunayGaz, Kazakhstan’s state-owned hydrocarbon powerhouse. One of KMGE’s priorities is integrating Big Data and AI into the petroleum industry.

“We have big stakes in digital tech for the hydrocarbon industry,” says Head of the Center for Heavy Deposit Modelling Vladislav Sudakov. “There are some success stories in this sphere, and our solutions are used by some companies. At the World-Class Research Center in Liquid Hydrocarbons, we are working on a new paradigm for extraction for old deposits.”

The two sides hope that their joint proposals will soon be in use by companies.
