Scientists of BRICS countries discuss new approaches in teaching for children with autism spectrum disorders

An international seminar at the Institute of Psychology and Education featured contributors from Russia, Kazakhstan, China, and Saudi Arabia.
The seminar was set to coincide with the upcoming World Autism Awareness Day (2 April).
Among the contributors were representatives of KFU, the Institute of Correctional Pedagogy (Russian Academy of Education), Federal Resource Center for the Organization of Comprehensive Support of Children with ASD, the Education University of Hong Kong, Kazakh National Pedagogical University, King Saud University, private nonprofits, and others.
KFU’s in-house kindergarten for children with ASD, We Are Together, also shared its expertise – the principal and two teachers spoke about diagnostic tools, psychological support, and behavioral correction.
