Negotiations with Tashkent Medical Academy

The meeting was conducted by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Timirkhan Alishev on 28 February.

The delegation comprised Counselor to the Rector of Tashkent Medical Academy Bakhtiyor Iriskulov, Senior Lecturer Anvar Sariyev, and Assistant Lecturer Tuichiboy Nishonov.

KFU is one of the biggest Russian universities with notable achievements in many spheres. One of such spheres is medicine. We want to establish academic and research contacts for joint work and study programs,said Dr. Iriskulov.

Vice-Rector Alishev spoke about the University’s priorities and structure, including the University Clinic and We Are Together Kindergarten.

Currently, KFU hosts 2,543 Uzbekistani nationals. There are 42 partner institutions in Uzbekistan and 45 joint educational programs. Our University provides online courses and internships in Russian companies.

This visit includes tours of the university museums, Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology, and Center for Precision and Regenerative Medicine.

Dr. Iriskulov thanked Vice-Rector Alishev for the welcome and expressed hope that there will be more joint publications and scientific projects in medicine in the near future.
