Alexander Grunichev steps up as Acting Director of the Higher School of Public Administration

Rector Lenar Safin introduced the new leader to the team during the morning briefing on Monday, 14 September.
The appointee assumes the post after Igor Privalov‘s retirement.
The Rector informed, “Alexander Grunichev is our alumnus, working as Professor of the Department of Human Resources Management since 2023. He has amassed an extensive managerial experience, having headed the Directorate of the Federal Antitrust Service in Tatarstan for 12 years and then the State Committee on Tariffs of Tatarstan for 7 years. I am convinced that his skills shall serve for the further growth of HSPA. Let’s wish him success!”
The Rector then thanked Dr Privalov for his work.
“Igor Privalov headed HSPA since October 2014. During this time, the School graduated 82,000 continuing education students, implemented 2,300 projects and events for professional development. The School’s services received 95% of positive feedback in polls. Thanks to Dr Privalov’s experience in civil service and his personal qualities, the School has become a leader in the Volga Federal District in its disciplines,” said Lenar Safin.
In conclusion, the Rector gave Igor Privalov a certificate of merit and expressed gratitude for the latter’s longtime bonafide labor.
