Maria Eflova wins Women in Science nomination at the Woman of the Year and Man of the Year: The Women’s Perspective Award

She shared the first prize with Honorary Professor of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering Galina Aydarova. The two winners received their commendations from the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

Dr Eflova’s research interests include digital competence, youth socialization, family sociology, sociology of communication, and others.

In February 2025, she was promoted to the post of the Acting Director of the Institute of Social and Philosophical Sciences and Mass Communications.
