Peoples’ Friendship Parade held on Russia Day in Kazan

International student joined the festivities on Kremlyovskaya Naberezhnaya (Kremlin Embankment) on June 12.

“Kazan Federal University is participating not for a first time,” commented Head of Student Adaptation Unit Sergey Tsvetkov. “Representatives of youth organizations and ethnic communities gather here.”

As head of KFU’s International Friendship Club Stanislav Mladenov noted, over 50 students came to the parade in 2021.

Ansar Amruddin, a junior year student from Afghanistan, commended the holiday organizers for bringing people together.

Medicine freshman Aboubacar Demba Camara from Guinea said, “I congratulate everyone on this occasion and wish you success and love.”

Among the festival’s events were a handicraft market and an ethnic music festival.
