139 KFU students selected as winners of the sixth season of the Student Startup competition

Each of the young people is set to receive 1 million rubles in funding.

This time, the contest was held in 7 nominations; digital technology, medicine and health, new materials and chemical technology, new devices and manufacturing technology, biotechnology, resource-saving energy technology, and creative industries. Tatarstan is among the leading provinces in terms of the number of winners. Apart from the winners, 22 KFU students entered the reserve list.

According to the Head of the Division of Innovative Development Anton Dyganov, the Institute of Chemistry is the leader at KFU this year with the biggest number of winning bids. The Division assists and consults the winner at all stages, including its won business acceleration program which starts on September 23rd of this year.

The Student Startup program was launched in 2022 as part of the Technology Federal Project to develop student entrepreneurship.
