KFU now listed as FISU Healthy Campus Silver Certificate holder
FISU delegation, headed by President Leonz Eder, visited the Republic of Tatarstan. The delegates met with Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan Azat Kadyrov, Ambassador of Switzerland to Russia Jürg Burri, and First Deputy Minister of Sports of Tatarstan Khalil Shaikhutdinov.
On behalf of KFU, a certificate handover ceremony was attended by Chair of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Nataliya Tagirova, Head of the Sports and Physical Education Orgazining Unit Aleksey Levanov, Chairman of the Kazan Yulbars Student Sports Club Kirill Sarkanich, and others.
The universities are evaluated by 100 criteria, including sports organizing, Healthy Campus management, mental and social health infrastructure, nutrition, medical prevention, environmental policies, sustainable development, community awareness, and prevention of risky behavior.
In the spring 2026, KFU was awarded the bronze tier during the first stage of the evaluation.
