Top 50 graduates receive diplomas from Rector Lenar Safin

The traditional ceremony was held on 4 July.

The tradition to honor top-performing students dates back to Russian Empire times and is among the oldest at the alma mater.

In his greeting, Lenar Safin noted that studentship is a great time to reveal one’s real potential. The University is a big family where everyone is glad to see others’ successes and achievements.

“Some of you have already determined your immediate plans, and some of you are still pondering, but each of you knows your vector. Try, make decisions, don’t be afraid of your ambitions and achieve what perhaps no one else has yet been able to achieve. The university taught you a lot of things, but your task is to learn the main thing – to follow your goals and choose your own way in life. And let the diploma of Kazan Federal University become for you not just an education document, but a reliable guide on your professional path, a source of pride and a bright reminder of your student years,” said the Rector.

Freshmen also extended their congratulations to senior peers. In conclusion, the graduates had words of gratitude and gave the Rector their memorable gift.
