Rector Ilshat Gafurov met with megagrant supervisor Jorge Ancheyta

The talks occurred on July 29.

A grant project by Kazan Federal University was supported by the Russian Science Foundation, and Professor of Mexican Petroleum Institute Jorge Ancheyta will act as the head of the team.

“It’s important for us to benchmark our work against the global standard,” mentioned Rector Gafurov during the conversation.

One of KFU’s strong areas of expertise are catalysts for in-situ oil refining, and this is precisely what the group will be working on in the nearest future.
