Council of Rectors of Tatarstan discusses moral education

A meeting was held at KFU on 7 December.

Among the invited officials was Minister of Youth Affairs of Tatarstan Rinat Sadykov. He presented a report on youth policies of the province in regard to higher education.

Rinat Sadykov mentioned that universities are evaluated in a special monitoring system which includes a number of parameters in moral education and student affairs. Among the important points are youth policy ecosystems, information, initiatives for students’ self-realization, project support, employment, housing, etc.

He thanked the rectors for their productive work and put forth new proposals in social outreach projects and programs for the student youth.

In other issues, an initiative to create an inter-university student choir was approved – it was suggested by Head of Tatar Chorus of Kazan University Irnis Rakhmatullin.

Chairman of the Council, Rector of KFU Lenar Safin introduced two new colleagues – Rector of Bolgar Islamic Academy Farkhat Khusnutdinov and Rector of Innopolis University Alexander Gasnikov. They both stepped up to their posts this year.
