Farida Khamidullina steps up as Vice-Rector for Legal and Property Affairs

The new post was established at KFU in January 2024.

Farida Khamidullina graduated with a law degree from Kazan University and started working in 2001 as Assistant Lecturer at the Department of History, Political Science and Law of the Kazan Institute of Finance and Economics (now part of KFU). Her latest position before the new appointment was Professor of the Department of Civil Law of KFU.

She was appointed Counselor to the Rector in September 2020 while staying at her academic job – which she still does now.

The Vice-Rector’s teaching experience also spans to additional education, MBA, advanced training for judges, lawyers and notaries.

Farida Khamidullina presented her PhD thesis in 2005 and her DSc thesis in 2019 and was awarded the academic title of Professor in 2023. She has authored over 80 papers, including monographs, textbooks and law commentaries.
