Memorandum of understanding signed with Vitebsk University

10th anniversary of the Russia-Belarus Forum of Regions is being celebrated in Ufa, Russia, on 27-28 June.

As part of the event, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Timrikhan Alishev signed the memorandum with Belarusian colleagues. Programs in IT, chemistry and other disciplines will be jointly implemented.

As of now, KFU has seven partner instutions in Belarus. In the last five years, KFU researchers have co-authored 61 papers with Belarusian peers. Currently, our Center for Special Robotics and AI is working on a driverless upgrade of Minsk Tractor Plant’s MTZ-112 tractor.

There are six Belarusian students at KFU in the 2022/2023 academic year.
